You’ve made it to retirement and, hopefully, you have enough of a nest egg to not have to work. However, you’re finding that you have a lot of time on your hands and are keen to do something new, different, and meaningful. That might be volunteering, taking on a cool part-time role somewhere, or starting that business you always dreamed about. Whatever the case, discovering and putting into motion your new “post-career purpose” is going to be key to your ongoing happiness.
We have designed a specific package to help you really crystallize your post-career purpose, develop strong value propositions and test market them, and develop networking engagement strategies to discover great fit opportunities:
- #1: Attend our 1 day workshop “Retired? Discovering your post-career passion”. You’ll leave the workshop with better clarity of how to go about putting your extensive work experiences, passions, and interests into play in a new, purposeful way. You’ll start to develop an improved value proposition making you more attractive to potential employers and clients, and enhanced networking strategies for seeking your “best fit” opportunities wherever they might be.
- #2: We provide individualized coaching support to help you develop your own blueprint for your post-career phase. Through working this blueprint you can discover the most appropriate and engaging roles for you in your market of interest, and also develop personal strategies for ultimately landing those types of opportunities.
- Typically a few short weeks of 1-on-1 coaching support will get you up and running with a strong value proposition and basic story elements in place, and an initial network building strategy for more effectively communicating your value.
- Continued 1-on-1 coaching typically continues to builds your confidence as you start to see early results take hold from your focused activities on better clarity, stronger communicated messages, and disciplined networking. If you want, we’ll continue to work with you right through to you pursuing — and landing — a new role or work assignment in an organization that is a great fit for both you and for your new employer.
